1) On Friday, the Judge released his decision in the big case Momma has been working on and .... we won!!! This is a really big deal in world of Energy law and it is a very exciting turn in the career. It was pretty much an impossible victory, but we did it!
2) To celebrate, Momma, Daddy, and Baby JAM went to Vancouver, BC over the weekend! Vancouver is just a 3 hour drive from Seattle, and it is a fantastic international city. We decided to just make this a short trip and we scoped out the city for future visits. We ate lots of yummy food (poutine, sushi, dim sum) and walked around the city. We loved the Asian-influenced architecture and all the food options. Can't wait to go back and check out the art scene and enjoy more time outdoors when it warms up. 3) Baby JAM is growing so fast! He is now 8.5 months old, and each day he seems to be learning a new skill. He has been so funny in imitating all the crazy sounds Daddy makes for him, but it is difficult to catch those sounds on tape! This week he mastered the art of sticking his tongue out (there was a period where he couldn't figure out how to get it outside of his lips), is working on standing up, and is learning to feed himself. Every day is so fun!
